The next stop on the Mara’s Pasta East Coast Tour was The Silverbrook Farm
, the second retailer on the East Coast to carry Mara’s Pasta. Located in the beautiful countryside of Acushnet, Massachusetts, The Silverbrook Farm has quickly become the “go to” farm for fresh local produce (in season), local, free-range meat and poultry, homemade jams, relishes, pickled veggies, fresh bakery items hot out of The Pereira Bread Company
oven (a tasty little division of The Silverbrook Farm), and good old-fashioned farm fun for the whole family, offering hay rides, a petting farm, and various events throughout the year. Last Saturday, December 10, was no exception.
Mara’s Pasta was among the esteemed guests invited to take part in Santa’s Winter Farm Follies at Silverbrook. Also included, The Grinch, and Mr. (Santa) and Mrs. Claus.
Guests toured the farm, got their faces painted, took part in pony and hay rides, sipped on hot chocolate and feasted on tasty samples of Mara’s Whole Wheat Pasta in the General Store.
Here’s Taylor, enjoying some Mara’s Pasta. Isn’t she cute?
On the menu were three easy and healthy pasta recipes:
Neveah gobbled it up!
That was Eamon’s favorite!
For many guests, young and old, it was the first time being introduced to our unique and nutritious whole wheat pasta, including The Grinch, who despite his best efforts, couldn’t deny the sweet, smooth, and delicious flavor. We consider this pretty victorious.
